This is an alternate ending and sequel to The Mortal Instruments series. Clary has been banished from the Shadowhunters for her Morgenstern blood, as the Shadowhunters believe that blood is cursed. A vote is taken in a council meeting in Idris and everyone votes to send her away to live a mundane life, including her family and friends. They all tell Clary they voted to send her away to protect her from Shadowhunters who don't want her but Clary is hurt either way. Clary has been living as a mundane for 3 years now, once a year a Shadowhunter comes to make sure she's still alive but it hurts her everytime to see her old life knock on the door, but not be able to be apart of it. This year things go a little differently...

The Shadowhunter characters as normal people with no magic or immortality, just a hobby-turned-job as YouTubers for Simon, Magnus, Izzy, Clary, and Jace. Alec and Raphael (and Meliorn)have normal/other jobs. A/N: I'm aware of Luke being a main character and the only reason he isn't in this story often it's because he's Clary's stepfather so I wouldn't know how to make him a main character in this.
