The last hum of her lightsabers faded into stillness, but her ears rang with phantom screams. Silence returned to the temple. A silence so deep it threatened to swallow her whole. Not the silence of peace-but of something lost. Irretrievable. They'd meditated while the Republic crumbled. They'd preached balance while clones-their own soldiers-were being twisted into executioners. She ground her teeth together, her face twitching with fury. "The Jedi told us to trust the Republic," she spat into the silence. "They told us the clones were loyal. That we were guardians of peace." She gestured to the corpses. "Does this look like peace?" She paced now, her movements sharp and erratic. "They told us emotions were dangerous. That fear, anger, love-any attachment-would lead to ruin. They said attachment was forbidden." Her voice cracked. "But what is loyalty if not attachment? What is trust? Brotherhood? What were we fighting for if not for each other?!" ---- Will she fall and become completely consumed by the dark? Or will she find her way back to the light?

In a Galaxy far away, it has been years since the Human-Covenant War ended. Many lives were lost and many worlds were burned or destroyed by the fallen Covenant empire. Thanks to the Forerunner's technology and unlimited resources the UNSC now known as the Terran Republic was able to restore their fallen colonies and end human insurrections in the outer colonies. The Terrans also made a strong alliance with a new faction called The Sword of Sanghelios which is led by the Arbiter known as Thel 'Vadam. With this strong alliance, both factions became powerful allies and business partners. Together, they expanded their colonies further into deep space and beyond. But with their expansion, they discovered a new Galaxy and colonies of a new planet called Fury. A year after the planet was colonized they found out that they weren't the only living species in this new Galaxy. *A/N: I do not own Star Wars or Halo. I only own my ideas.*
