But the world has stopped behaving. Animals act wrong. Ravens follow him. A girl's pendant glows when she's happy. A castle flickers between ruin and beauty. Magic isn't something Marco wants. It isn't something he believes in. But it's here anyway, mythic, wild, and impossible to ignore. As strange creatures and dangerous pursuers slip into his quiet California town, Marco must decide whether to hold on to the safety of what he knows or step into a reality that is bigger, stranger, and more alive than anything he ever imagined.

A Nobledark fantasy adventure about a young elf hiding among humans dreaming of the day her magic will manifest. When a mysterious undead curse from a millennia ago threatens her world, will she be brave enough to stop it- even if the ramifications destroy everything she ever believed? ***** Irregular upload schedule, because the anxiety from *gestures widely* is too much. It comes out when it comes out. No AI use, ever. This is my first book so I'd love to get feedback and places to improve my writing or (if there's a section you like) some encouraging words. In a city where everyone's pain leaves a visible scar, she's the only one who can make them disappear. Isira works in a quiet café. She doesn't do magic, not really. She listens. Says the right thing. And when she does, people's scars begin to fade. But healing others comes at a cost: she earns a new scar for every one she takes away. Then one rainy morning, a man walks in with no scars at all. No pain. No wounds. Nothing to read. Isira should feel relieved. Instead, she feels something worse, like her own scars are waking up. Even the Wind Has Bones is a lyrical, slow-burning novel about invisible wounds, soft magic, and what happens when the one who heals everyone else is finally seen.

🌙✨ The Lost Legacy of Astalia ✨🌙 "Velthren hal'ethra, no'sareth talun." - The stars remember, even when the world forgets. - Velastra, Fragment of Dawn Marked by an ancient symbol and haunted by dreams of flame and sorrow, a girl is pulled into a legacy the world buried long ago. Shadows move in sacred places. Statues lie broken. And beneath the songs of the faithful, something older begins to stir. Guided by fragments of memory and the fragile trust of strangers, she journeys through divine lands - where forests judge the soul, temples still remember, and the name of a fallen god is whispered like a curse. But the past is not past. And some flames, once lit, never die. When truth returns, will the world be ready to remember? --- 💫 Mondays belong to Astalia. The path deepens each week - A story whispered into your soul, by yours truly, Louxylle.

Twelve‑year‑old Luna Marrow never asked to hear the voice that lives between yesterday and tomorrow. She never asked for the crescent mark that burns on her wrist. And she definitely never asked to be the only human who can see the thing whispering her name. But when dreams crack like glass and hours begin to fold in on themselves, Luna discovers that something ancient has awakened - something hungry, grieving, and impossibly patient. Now she must survive a collapsing timeline, a sarcastic cosmic narrator who refuses to leave her alone, and a woman made of broken tomorrows who wants to stitch the world into a new, impossible shape. In a town where memories vanish, days loop, and children can become ledgers, Luna must choose what she's willing to carry... and what she's willing to lose. Because whether she's ready or not, Luna Marrow is the only one who can hold the thread before the world unravels. You can also find this story under my name on Pocket FM, Wattpad, and Royal Road.

She doesn't remember being Draupadi. She only remembers the fear of becoming her again. In a city that feels too familiar, a girl searching for peace keeps running into echoes she can't explain, certain places that react to her presence, people who look at her like they've failed her before, and a love that feels dangerous not because of who he is... but because of what history might do to them. She wants a quiet life. A gentle love. A future untouched by sacrifice. But fate has never been kind to women who refuse their roles. As fragments of an ancient story begin to surface, she must decide: Will she repeat the past written for her or become the woman destiny never accounted for? A slow-burn mystery where Indian mythology hides in plain sight, and rebirth is not a blessing, but a question.

He was a genius long before he was allowed to be a child. At an age when others played in the dust, he sat in classrooms built for seniors, watching life unfold through glass windows. Praised, accelerated, and perfected by the world around him, he grew into an engineer and scientist of remarkable ability-respected, accomplished, and utterly hollow. His childhood was exchanged for expectations, his brilliance rewarded with isolation, and his life reduced to quiet efficiency. Then, without spectacle or warning, everything ends. When he awakens in another world-one slow, simple, and far behind in technology-there are no gods to greet him, no destiny proclaimed, no throne waiting to be claimed. He arrives as no one. A stranger. A traveler. And for the first time, that feels right. Choosing anonymity over recognition, he begins to live quietly. He fixes broken tools, improves daily life in small ways, and teaches only when asked. His knowledge becomes a means of kindness rather than power, progress measured not in empires but in time gained-time to rest, to learn, to live. Along winding roads and unfamiliar villages, he gathers companions and disciples, not to follow him, but to walk beside him. Yet progress has consequences. Technology alters traditions. Comfort invites conflict. And healing a world forces him to confront the wounds he carried from his own. As he journeys forward, the question is no longer whether he can change this world-but whether he can finally choose who he is within it. The Life He Never Lived is a quiet isekai slice-of-life novel about stolen childhoods, gentle progress, and the courage it takes to live without expectations. It is a story of teaching without control, improving without conquering, and discovering that an ordinary life, freely chosen, may be the greatest achievement of all.

When Isabella Branson receives a letter tellling her she's inherited her estranged aunt's teashop in a town no one remembers, her life kind of wrecks itself. After a dangerously impulsive decision and a just-as-dangerous drive into fog, she arrives in Rosewick. It's overwhelming, magical, surrounded by fog that Isabella swears is sentient and all too charming. Especially for a town built on a leyline that's becoming dangerously unstable. If her move to a town where spells come as easy as breathing and familiars that like to walk through drying paint wasn't enough, now Isabella has to deal with the seal her aunt maintained for decades as it weakens and begins to disrupt the leyline. And when professor Katherine Ellsworth makes her clumsy introduction, guiding Isabella with history facts, quiet evening conversations and shared chuckles over late night pastries in Camille's bakery, Isabella starts to find out Rosewick might have a whole different layer of magic to it. When I was reading a book series, I got carried away with so many of the things in canon. Taking place after the aftershock of the War of the Ember, I wish to tell a tale of the displaced owls of Kuneer, a tale of a fight over the fates of hagsfiends' reincarnations, a tale of the fallout of the H'rathgar Glacier Cataclysm, a tale of the Ice Bridge from beyond the Beyond, a tale of how the creatures of the Kingdom of Ambala adapt to their changing world: a tale of owls and snakes and more who laugh and cry and wish and learn, in kingdoms almost entirely their own, far from the forests of Tyto where we first saw the Ga'Hoole world. ⚠⚠ The original lore for the series seems at best insensitive and at worst weirdly racist at times when it comes to its in-story cultures and backstories "inspired" by real ones. This story can't be much better, as I'm the wrong person to write it, so reader discretion is advised. ⚠ As a fanfiction, this has spoilers for a series, but you probably aren't going to read the series anyway.

NOTE: This is the original novelette version of a larger story that has since been expanded and revised into a novella called Crime and Lemonade by S.P. Luna. Kyro knows how to survive in a city built on violence, debt, and blood. He doesn't know what to do with the girl who falls out of a glowing rift in the sky and starts asking about lemon trees. Maisie is bright, strange, magical, and completely out of place in his brutal world. She conjures lemonade, grows flowers from broken stone, heals wounds he would rather ignore, and refuses to be afraid of him-even when every reasonable person should be. But when her magic binds itself to Kyro, leaving them tethered across worlds, he has no choice but to keep her close. The Lemonade Mage is a short romantic fantasy novelette about a violent man, a sunshine-hearted mage, a magical bond, and the terrifying risk of letting tenderness survive in a world that does not deserve it.

When the royal library grows warm with lamplight and the world slows enough to listen, Princess Aurelia pours tea. She listens to bakers and scribes, gardeners and wanderers - to the stories that may not belong in court, but matter all the same. Tea with the Princess of Pages is a cozy fantasy about quiet kindness, soft magic, and a princess who believes that sometimes, being heard is the rarest form of grace.
