Sonnets Stories

These sonnets were found in the back of a notebook that also contained AP Statistics notes, a grocery list, and three different attempts at a letter that was never sent. They are presented here in the order they appear to have been written. No corrections have been made. The margins were full. Blake Carrington, age 19, Crestfield.

This collection is a home for the words I never said out loud. Each poem is a timestamp of moments I tried to forget, people I tried to unlove, and feelings I failed to name in time. If you're holding this, maybe you're carrying something heavy too. Sit with me for a while. Maybe between the lines, you'll find your own heart speaking back.

A compilation of 6 Original Sonnets by Joe Ellah.. written in the standard Shakespearean format. 🌹 Each poem is a journey of 14 lines, written in pentameter. Each line has 10 syllables. 3 Quatrains and 1 Couplet in ABAB CDCD EFEF GG rhyme scheme. Enjoy a piece of my imagination. 🌹

Sonnets that I sometimes like to challenge myself with.

A compilation of poems written during the span of 2 years. From dark, emotional sonnets to sing song rhymes and stories, you can feed your mind with whatever satisfies your creative hunger. From the depths of a young women's heart and soul come poems that are brimming with emotion, pain, and euphoria. I welcome you into the whirlwind of emotion that is my mind. These poems were written by me for me. however, the meanings and metaphors found within are to be interpreted however the reader sees them.
