A short story I wrote for a little SSHG contest I did a month or so ago. If you choose to read, enjoy! :) Hermione mucks up the courage and energy to visit a former professor in St. Mungos just as the wizarding war comes to an end. She has many questions and things she wants to say, and he may just be the right person for her to go to for what she needs.

In 2004, Hermione Granger has mysteriously disappeared after her shift at the Ministry, leaving everyone puzzled and desperate for answers. Meanwhile, in 1975, Jane Lewis is a bright student at Hogwarts who can't stand Severus Snape. He's always outdoing her academically and has a reputation for being a prat. However, everything changes when she starts having nightmares filled with visions of war and werewolves. Despite their rivalry, Snape takes a sudden interest in Jane, and it's not just him-Headmaster Dumbledore is also curious about her. As Jane navigates this unexpected attention, she begins to uncover secrets that connect her time to the future and may hold the key to Hermione's disappearance.
