Before the world knew mercy, before gods learned sorrow, there were two demons -
Raen and Lyra.
They were born from the ashes of chaos, forged in hunger and fire.
Together, they roamed the lands where mortals dared not tread, feasting on wandering souls and painting the earth in shadow.
They were feared. They were worshipped.
They were unstoppable - until they found something that neither of them understood.
Love.
It came quietly, like the breath before dawn.
At first, it was curiosity - a flicker of warmth where there should have been none. Then it became need, and from need, it became devotion. For the first time in eternity, the monsters stopped killing and began to dream.
But the gods see everything.
When Raen and Lyra, in their desperation for life, took the soul of a goddess's child - a being of light reborn among mortals - the heavens trembled with fury. The skies split open, and the goddess descended, her sorrow burning brighter than wrath.
> "You who devour life and call it love," she said, her voice echoing through every realm.
"You who took what was pure to feed your emptiness - you will learn what it means to lose what you love."
The curse was her mercy - and her punishment.
> "You will be reborn through ages. You will find each other and lose each other, again and again.
You will love until it destroys you.
And only when your hearts learn to love without hunger, without fear, without chains - will you be free."
Will they find each other and stop the curse?
