It follows the first person narrative of one of the toons named Rodger. who in this story is human like the rest of the toons, as he tries to uncover the mystery behind a series of disappearances happening in Gardenview. In this AU, Vee and Rodger work together to give the toons mechanical upgrades to survive the growing numbers of twisteds. Most of the floors are unsafe now. The only floors that aren't death traps are the lobby, diner, and toons' rooms. As Rodger is preparing to modify the final toons, his work is interrupted by the scream of Toodles. Turns out, she went missing after an incident involving Ic-$~/{SILENCE.
