After quickly assessing the situation, I pulled my dagger from my belt and made my way towards him. He backed away in fear, eyeing the sharp blade. He continued until he hit the wall. I stared at him for a moment before sheathing the knife. He relaxed slightly. "Thank the sun," he exhaled in relief.
