Trace and Poppy were happy up until the day Trace disappeared. The rest of the town was quick to write Trace off as dead after searching for a while and coming up with nothing, but a heartbroken Poppy isn't so sure. She knows Trace better than anyone and when a series of clues start showing up in her day to day life, she know's better than to think of them as coincidence. It begins to become clear that it's not up to the town to find Trace, its up to her.

Tracy is a minimum wager sales agent on a small clothing store inside a big mall in Erish City. Her life was incomparable to what she used to be back in Elementary and Highschool when she was still in the loving provision of her parents. Now, as life pushed her to the edge of dispair, she remembers the good old days with her family and friends back in Glenwood County. Her grandma Lilith's satisfying coconut pie, her parents' vegetable store in Loving St. and most importantly, her memories with Nathan buried deep in her heart draining all the energy inside of her. Memories that serves as the traces of time.

I just couldn't let her get hurt. It was not hubris that drove me to lie, I swear. It was just to protect her. She is special beyond imaginable, and several want her dead. All of Rucade and Cindercrest to be exact. It was better they think me the hero and not her. They would chase me, they would not hunt her. I cannot lie any longer. The truth must eventually be told. That is why I am here, that is why this text exists. This is what actually happened. Throw out any bits and pieces of the story of Sae Petrea you might have heard. Tuttle Town would appear to be no more than a nice town from the outside- it had a nice modern homes, advanced schools and prestigious academies, friendly residents, eye-catching parades, and a more-than-perfect mayor. To anybody living outside of Tuttle Town, they'd think of it as paradise on earth, somewhere that they had to live, nothing bad would happen, it was no more than a very luxurious ordinary life. So is the life at Tuttle Town very luxurious? Of course. Is it ordinary? Nope. Life at Tuttle Town is much more than ordinary, in fact, it's quite odd. Bur our story is not about this not-so-ordinary town, but rather of a single girl and her supporting crew. Her name? Black Cat.
