🦢 "Whalesoul dreamin', flying in the deep blue world Ocean mist, engulf my moving monumental body To the rhythm of your waves, hypnotized, Lyrical movements tickle heartbeats beneath my feet..." 🦢 Assalamualaikum (peace be upon you). This is a collection of my poetry: from freestyle poems and prose to ballads, sonnets, hymns and anything connected to poetry that emerges from the depths of my soul. Clean, raw words and pure emotions I pen and document. This is a safe space for you, dear reader. Rest your heart here. I hope you love your stay here and spending time with my poetry. 🌸❯────「🌸」────❮🌸 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐬. 𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬. What began as a chessboard became a garden-of grief and laughter, faith and forgetting. Of fathers who never sat on thrones. Of men holding the wrong flowers on blind dates. Of a lab explosion and a Marble Queen shaking her head. Some stories don't end - they linger, like April rain on quiet days. 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚 is a collection of moments that exist in the in-between - where beginnings feel uncertain, endings arrive softly, and emotions refuse to fade completely. Each poem captures fragments of connection, loss, growth, and quiet realization, unfolding like petals that never fully close. This is not a book of perfect endings. It is a book of almosts, echoes, and afterglow - of feelings that stay long after they should have left. Versification 2023 is here to celebrate the month of April in style, and this book is an attempt to bag the prize! Hosted by @StoriesUndiscovered, @WattpadESL, @WattpadPoetry, and @ChickLit in collaboration, this contest prompted me to get my pen working once again and my thoughts flowing out and forming sentences, verses, and poems - to reach out to you!
