"Young Hayden sank deep into the blood stained gore of crimson he had wrought on his village, panting. His hands were as scarlet as the eyes that stared deep into his mother's. A frightfully scream of murder pulsed through the thick air. She quivered and squirmed quietly at his gaze, too scared to startle her son into another rampage. Her eyes drenched with tears, falling on limbs barely recognisable as the Royal Corps laying on the meadow below them. Another figure wearing the royal blue colours gasped for air as he crept away slowly. "Demon...demon," he whispered." In a realm called Arcadia, exists mystical creatures and beings with unimaginable magical power. A long time ago the bridge between Arcadia and the human world almost dissipated, spelling an age of disaster in both worlds. Until two of the strongest of the beings found a way to bind the two worlds in their respective realms, using human beacons to create a boundary. The magic did not fade completely from the human world however. Now the world is full of enchanted weapons channeling the power of the mystical creatures of Arcadia; power drawn from people called mages. The human beacons bound to the boundary.
