So, basically, he's getting powers in exchange for doing nothing. However, he's getting put into a world that has been disturbed by monsters for millennia, so the powers aren't unappreciated. Credit to The [Interactive RWBY CYOA V1.2] and its Creator, PixelGMS, for heavily inspiring the story.
