In the fall of 1984, Hawkins seems to be going about its usual business... at least on the surface. Carla Martinez has formed a close bond with Dustin Henderson, becoming a trusted presence for the boy. Despite her apparent stability, she keeps her attraction to Steve Harrington a secret, while he remains emotionally attached to Nancy. During the Halloween party, an unexpected conversation between Steve and Carla bridges the gap between them. This is during season 5, in filling in the blanks Of what didn't happen. Who we didn't get a reunion with (Dustin, El, Etc) and just things I imagine happening between scenes. Also gonna write the stuff that DID happen in the show too, just saying what I think their internal monologue would be saying. (Specifically Max's.) First two chapters made before the finale. (Warning) mild swearing and medical equipment being used on Max, non-sexual nudity in a medical/caregiving context. Living in Mike's house, Will tries to be invisible, spending most of his time in the basement. Then the power goes out - and if there's one thing he dreads more than facing Mike, it's the cold. or Seven nights in which Mike and Will have to sleep in the same bed, even though they're barely friends anymore.

The Hopper-Byres family moved back to Hawkins, which is happy because all the friend groups are back, but who knew how hard it would be to navigate through life post the trauma of Vecna and his curse.
