With no pattern or criteria in which the killer selects his victims, no DNA evidence and no leads to the case, the police are at a loss. Francis Raithby, a shopkeeper within the village lives a private life, in contrast to the other villagers in Graham; repetitive daily routines, little to no socialization suits her perfectly. To Francis, boring is a relief; the only way to escape the demons of her past she worked hard to leave behind. However, her life is turned upside down when her childhood friend, Zach Hosean, a previous resident of the village, is reported missing. Suddenly Francis is plunged into the centre of the investigation. Can Francis solve the murders haunting the village of Graham? To find her childhood friend she will have to revisit the past that pains her so deeply, but will the demons that once tore her life apart come back to life with a vengeance? And what will she uncover about the perfect people of Graham along the way…

Prologue: It's now Sunday March 3rd 3015 or I think it is. It's been approximately 62 days since the plague has first started, and I am practically all alone. It's only me and my father, the only person left in the world I can trust. My little brother passed away a couple weeks back, and my mom when the plaque first started, but if it's one thing I learned from all of this shit is that the best way to survive in the world now is to give very little thought to anyone or anything. It's hard at first but after you see more and more of your family and friends die in front of your own eyes, you'll get used to it. And the worst part about this is that the body count will never end.

Izzy was a quiet shy girl , her mom was her closest friend when she moved, he books were her lovers and her posters her friends. She was always the school geek. When she turns seventeen they move away from her real bestfriend, little did she know, this move will be a constant roller coaster ride, sometimes going up sometimes going down, and sometimes going upside down.
