Bycie drugim wokalem i gitarą prowadzącą w zespole jest jednym z takowych i radości z tego nie niszczy mu nawet fakt, że na razie grają tylko w opuszczonej fabryce. Niezależny, zawsze w swoim świecie, praktycznie odizolowany od reszty ludzi ze szkoły, z którymi nie chce mieć do czynienia, nie robi zbyt pozytywnego wrażenia. Jest pilny, sumienny, a przez dwa dni w tygodniu chodzi na korepetycje tylko po to, by prześcignąć swojego rywala. Tak, Lance jest numerem dwa. Zawsze z zawiścią i podziwem patrzy na nazwisko Kogane, tuż nad swoim. Gdyby tylko Lance potrafił zachować jakąkolwiek powagę może ktokolwiek uwierzyłby, że chłopak naprawdę się stara. On zamiast tego obraca wszystko w żart i zawsze robi wokół siebie zamieszanie i hałas. Lance nie ma zielonego pojęcia, jak wygląda Keith. Chłopak jest dla niego zagorzałym rywalem, ale zna tylko jego nazwisko.
