Some feelings don't come with a reason. You can be having a completely normal day- laughing, scrolling, talking like everything is fine... and then, suddenly, something feels off. Not loud. Not obvious. Just... heavy. This isn't a story with characters or a perfect plot. It's a collection of thoughts-raw, quiet, and honest. The kind of thoughts you don't say out loud. The kind you don't even fully understand yourself. If you've ever: felt sad without knowing why, overthought something simple until it felt real, or felt alone even when people were around- this might feel a little too close. You won't find perfect answers here. But maybe... you'll feel understood. - Nobody talks about this.

Hello, my name's Maddy. I've identified as aromantic asexual since I was 14. I've found a lack of proper media attention towards my sexuality recently, and I've decided to share my story. My hopes are that one day people won't have to go through what I did to find out who they are. You're special no matter who you are. Note, some of these stories happened as far away as 10 years ago. I was fairly young when some happened, so I don't remember every detail. I'm going off my memories.

This is an ongoing collection of poems I have written throughout my life. These are mine, they make sense to me, they mean something to me. If you don't understand them, if they don't inspire an emotion in you, if you don't like them, don't read them. Some are meant to be read silently, others aloud, some sung, quiet, loud, fast slow, because every single one is different. Written at a different time with different inspiration in a different mood. I won't update regularly, rather, I'll update when I write something I want to share. Don't be surprised if I delete or edit some poems. Poems change with me. Enjoy.
