Chapter 1 Preview:
          
          Bam! Electricity shut up my entire body. I could feel heat swirl at the back of my head. My body tingled all over as adrenaline pumped through my veins. It felt like someone had just slapped me across the face. I could feel my body, but it felt foreign and unfamiliar, as if it wasn't my own. What was that? It wasn't what I think it was...was it? I glanced around me, afraid to move. It was pure pandemonium as people pushed and shoved past me. The chaos only confirmed my suspicions.
          
          
          Someone had been shot.

          -Occupation: Mayor of Harland
          -In office: 3 years
          -Last seen: placed into an ambulance at the scene
          -Hospital has no record of Alder arriving
          -Status: Unknown

Investigation Log #1:
          
          Harland Fall Festival.
          Hundreds of witnesses.
          
          A single gunshot.
          Tom Alder collapses in the town square.
          
          Paramedics rush him to the hospital.
          
          But the ambulance arrives empty.
          
          Investigation ongoing.
