★ My book, 'Disastrous Ties' lives up to its dramatic name by forcing me to come up with absurd, over the top nonsense. Since it's a rom-com, coming up with jokes is yet another task. It's tiring, and sometimes I regret starting it, but now that I'm knee deep in this mess, I have to finish. Because unfinished things take up a huge space in my mind and keeps me up at night.
