@DaemonXII It just simply fucking sucks man. It’s garbage. Part 2 was for nothing. Zero conclusion, zero themes, zero character arcs, nothing. Super lazy ending. Chainsaw Man’s been feeling off for 2 years but fuck man. I expected more. I hope it’s an April fools joke because this shit fucking stinks. Fujimoto managed to make people hate an ending where Power and Nayuta are back. Fucking clown of a writer if this is real.

@VoidReaderXXII I'll be upfront and say I'm not too sure how to feel about the ending, it's really just got me in a whole state of confusion right now. I can't say I hated it or liked it because I have no idea how to feel about it, it just has me dazed. And I'm not a big fan of the whole 'world reset' and 'it was all a dream'. Essentially everything that happened from the start of part one to the ending of part two was for nothing, every death, every action, every choice, all of it was for nothing. And there was SOOOO many side plots that were left unanswered, like seriously. I wish we could've gotten a bit more on Quanxi's backstory, possibly an origin story. I really was clinging to the hope that Reze would return for some reason and help out, but no. Oh, and maybe the main question I've been asking myself about the world of Chainsaw Man, WHY DO DEVILS EVEN EXIST ON EARTH AND WHAT'S THE STORY BEHIND IT?! I mean seriously, we're still left with SOOO many questions and this is the ending he gives us? What was the point of all of this? Because now Denji finds himself in a new world and even then that world sucks, devils still exist and kill people, he's most likely still suffering from his heart condition and will probably die soon. And don't even get me started on Asa's character, we witnessed and read her entire life, from childhood to where she is now. And Fujimoto basically just swept her aside and made her entire arc and character for nothing. Even after several hours the ending just... I don't know, I really don't know how to feel about it. It was just... I don't know...

@DaemonXII To me, it felt like a sour taste in my mouth; all of Denji and Asa's character development was gone, and now Denji has no idea who she is at all. We also have no idea, like, characters like Quanxi and her girls? Where's Kishibe been this entire time? Is Aki alive? and so on. And the thing that made me question is, why did Pochita off himself? I felt there would be more consequences to this, but it didn't, although it essentially rendered all the laws of the CSM. We also see that Denji still has Pochita's heart. In my opinion, it felt like Tatsuki Fujimoto was burned out from the series and just made the ending to please Power and Nayuta fans, giving an ending that mentions the characters who died, but only three major characters. At the end, I just hope there's a part three to just answer questions that have been missing and give closure for some characters. At the end, it was mid-core, in my opinion.
