Jahrgang 1974. Auf dem Asphalt aufgewachsen, in der Infanterie gehärtet. Früher habe ich Minen geräumt; heute befreie ich Sätze von Klischees.

Ich schreibe keine Märchen. Ich schreibe über den Geruch von Schießpulver, den kalten Beton von Brooklyn und Menschen, die das überlebt haben, was andere nur aus Filmen kennen. Meine Geschichten sind roh, dreckig und echt. Genau wie das Leben.
