Lost in the Dark chapter 1 reveal:

          August 15th, 1983
          
          I woke up. Not bad, not good either. The events from yesterday flood my mind. The blonde boy, his two friends. I tapped my right cheekbone and felt a pulsating pain. I try and pay no more attention to it and get up for the day. Today is Monday, which means it's the first day back to school. Mom likes to make my sister breakfast every morning, I always tell her that she doesn’t have to and that I could easily make my sister the meal, but she still does and says I’ll burn the house down.
          
          I got out of my bed, got my school bag, put my glasses on, woke up my sister, brushed my thick, dark red hair into its usual parted style, brushed my teeth, and got dressed for the day. My typical clothing style consists of dark colored pants or blue jeans, white t-shirts, and black jackets or hoodies.
          
          My sister’s clothing, she’d wear anything as long as it’s bright colored; white or pink. I just have this gut feeling that when she becomes a teenager, her taste in style will change drastically.
          
          After eating breakfast and my mom telling my sister to be safe and to have fun at school, then telling me to behave and to not let my sister get lost or hurt, we started our walk to school. It was still dark out, the moon and stars slowly fading as the sky started going from black to a dark blue.
          
          All was going pretty normal until we heard a group of boys start following behind us. After looking over my shoulder, they appeared to be around the typical high school age, which is anywhere between 13 and 18.
          
          There were six boys and two girls, all of them wore masks of different animal characters, and they wore them in a position where their faces were visible. I slowed down the pace of my sister and I, because we were holding hands, to let them pass us, but instead I think one of them purposefully walked into me.

Hewwo!! So this may or may not be an important announcement, so read please I guess, or not, it’s your choice.
          
          So ye, last announcement I said that after 342 days my dad unblocked Discord on my phone, so yay for me. I also said that Monday next week, or March 30th, will be my first time going to a physical building for school, aka not homeschool, since getting banned from my last school bc of a false rumor abt me and this other kid, which I msged on Discord at the time and that’s why it was blocked. But dw, I blocked him just a few days before Discord was bc I finally realized how much of a horrible influence he was to me.
          
          Now, the whole point of this announcement, stories. You want ‘em and I make ‘em. Y’all haven’t seen a chapter since like October or November, wow. Ik you all are starving for new content, mainly those who’ve been following me the longest and are still keeping up with me on updates (shoutout to you guys, thanks for sticking with me and my autistic ahh announcements :3). To give you a little taste, I’ll upload the first paragraph or few of chapter 1 of Lost in the Dark at 12pm CST, a teaser if you will.
          
          Other stories. I had I think 2 planned and 2 already published. The 2 already published were When the Light Meets the Dark and Scars, the 2 planned were Changed Forever and Eclipse 2. I actually did have like 1 or 2 more stories planned but I only remember 1, it was gonna be a Lethal Company story. I remember making teasers saying like “You’re in deep, access file Sigurd” or something, but yeah that story ain’t happening anymore… maybe. I’m working on too many things at once now, ok? Well, mainly 1, and that’s LitD. Earlier I did find myself re-reading bits of WtLMtD (Light Meets Dark) to remember some stuff that’s happening there to prepare writing it again and continuing chapter 16, which has a current word count of 0.
          
          Ok, I’m almost at the max character limit of 2k, so I’ll quit my yapping. See yall at 12pm CST :3
          

After 342 days, my dad finally unblocked Discord on my phone. Whole reason he blocked it was bc I was msging someone he didn’t like :3
          
          I blocked the dude right before the app was blocked bc he was actually a bad person and part of the reason I was banned from my old school.
          
          And speaking of schools, I passed the tests I was supposed to take and I’m now officially enrolled at a new school! My first day is Monday next week! I’M SO HAPPY AAAAAAAA

Holy freaking hecker I just had a HUGE announcement typed out but closed the update status thingymajig and it’s all gone now TwT. I hate myself so much for that.
          
          Basically, I’m not typing all of that again. So good news for you, you’re getting the nutshell version!

          1-I typed 1321 words last night in LitD ch11 after getting off Cookie Clicker.
          2-DSaF reference in ch11, won’t be the only one.
          3-Ch11 will feature the first pov change, and ch9 has the first flashback.
          4-I’m going to a new school for my senior year this next school year bc I got banned from my last one. Only con is their uniform policy and I take a placement test tomorrow morning.
          5-LitD random chapter name reveal:

          Still hate myself for getting rid of my approx 1k word announcement, I was smiling and everything until I wiped it from existence faster than a blink of an eye (which is approx 0.15 seconds). I hope I got everything I did have in my announcement that I wiped from existence, so yippee I guess

Heyo! Ik ik, it’s like 00:05 CST as I’m typing this rn, but I got liek new things and stuff.
          
          1 - One of my friends and I were msging each other a couple days ago and I randomly had a creativity boost mid conversation all bc he mentioned the name Jack (my fursona btw in case you didn’t know). After that, I jotted down abt a page or 2 of just story ideas, but dw it’s for stories that already exist so no new stories besides ones that i already had planned before that.
          
          2 - Idk if people just don’t look, don’t remember, or whatever else, but the author of the dognap/catday fanfic called A New Life is my best friend, my bestie, whatever you wanna call it. I was actually the one who inspired him to write his own dognap/catday story and it makes me smile to this day. I also learned that moment that even though I’m just 1 human out of like 8 billion now, that I can make a difference in this world, and so can you whoever is reading this.
          
          3 - Instead of writing my Fnaf fanfic LitD (Lost in the Dark for those who don’t know what the acronym stands for), I’m instead still in my 2 hour long gaming session of Cookie Clicker (wow, Ik, playing Cookie Clicker in the big ‘26, so crazy). But now that I’ve said that, and typed it out in front of my very eyes, I’ll now get back to work on the stories that my audience has been begging for since like October/November of 2025
          
          And that’s it. It’s now like 00:17, and my midnight story writing cravings are clawing their way inside me. To Google Docs I goooooo

Eating lunch at a restaurant with my country, redneck, conservative family. Little do they know, that under my black sweatpants, I’m wearing paw sock garters, thigh high socks, and a skirt :3
          
          Also, they don’t know I’m a furry :P
          (And yes, I’m wearing a skirt under my pants, it feels nice)

My stepdad is saying I need professional psychiatric help, but he’s not doing it bc he’s been saying that for the past 3-4 years now
          
          Anyway, I slept rather good last night and I found my missing furcon bag that’s been missing a month now, it did indeed have my fursuit fan inside so I can now fursuit again, yay!

          Oh yeah, LitD ch11 will be an entire day, unlike ch1-3 which all 3 take place the same day as well. Ch11 will be the start of a lot of chaos and, uhh, more chaos ig. I also just realized this as well, but the protags name is a character that's mentioned in my story Light Meets Dark, he's the younger brother of a side-main character. 
          
          I haven't made this public yet, but Prototype and Harley Sawyer are now tied as my favorite character in Poppy Playtime. The conflict will end when ch6 releases bc by then I think I'd be able to make up my mind on who it will be.
