What’s the hardest part of your writing process and the part you secretly love?

@FlashficCommunity editing is the hardest part. Writing is great, but I love dreaming up ideas.

@FlashficCommunity the hard part is actually getting up to write and the part I secretly love is when I'm just typing away :)

Hey, I was wondering whether there will be a revival of "The Season Anthology"? (e.g., Autumn etc.)

It's an amazing project and really carried me through the past year as something to look forward to.

Thank you for the effort you put into the Community and I'm looking forward to this year's challenges and contests.

          SUMMARY

Seir Jay "Damian" Damiano is a 17-year-old genius student with an IQ of 200 living in Metro Manila. Despite coming from a simple family, his extraordinary gift for observation, pattern recognition, and deduction makes him stand out. When a police officer discovers his talent for solving mysteries around school, Damian is offered money to help with real criminal cases—an offer he can't refuse given his family's financial struggles.

What starts as helping solve petty crimes quickly escalates when Damian is pulled into a serial murder investigation. A killer is leaving cryptic patterns on victims' bodies, following the seven deadly sins, and counting down seven days for seven souls. As bodies pile up and time runs out, Damian must use every ounce of his intelligence to predict the killer's next move, decode the messages, and uncover a tragic truth that blurs the line between justice and revenge.

In a race against time through the streets of Manila, Damian will discover that sometimes the smartest solution isn't catching the criminal—it's understanding why they became one.

@FlashficCommunity Slow burn romance. And probably enemies to lovers, too.

What’s a story idea you’ve had for years but haven’t written yet?

katiegoesmew

@FlashficCommunity Well, the first original story idea I had was a Christian redemption epic fantasy with a massive world, six races of people (humans, elves, dwarves, dragons, mer, centaur), two main characters and ten other primary side characters (two representatives for each race), animal familiars, paranormal elements, good vs. evil... it was a big chunk to bite off for a first story. Too big. I still haven't finished it yet. And, uh... it's been 22 years. XD
