I’ve officially finished writing the final chapter of Crowned in Flame and Storm.
          
          It’s been an incredible journey writing this story, and I’m so grateful to everyone who has been reading, commenting, and sharing your thoughts along the way. Seeing your reactions to the characters and this world has meant more to me than I can say.
          
          The final chapter of Crowned in Flame and Storm will be posted on March 20. On the same day, the first five chapters of the third and final book in the series, Light of the Broken Tongue, will also be released.
          
          While the next story will explore new parts of the world—including the fey kingdom and the magic language of Syvareth—you’ll still see familiar characters along the way.

Today (2/27) is Anosmia Awareness Day!
          
          I still think it’s a little funny that there’s a day for my invisible disability — mostly because people forget I have it. Anosmia just means I don’t have a sense of smell. It’s not dramatic most days. It’s just part of how I move through the world.
          
          It’s also the entire reason the Scentmarked series exists.
          
          Without my anosmia, there would be no Sovarielle. Writing a dragon who cannot smell in a scent-driven world became the easiest way for me to explore and express parts of my own experience — just through storms, dragons, and magic instead.
          
          In honor of today, I’m posting Chapter 61 of Crowned in Flame and Storm: Echoes of Whispervale. In this chapter, Elle finally faces what has haunted her since she lost her sense of smell and the fall of her horde.

          Crowned in Flame and Storm is nearing its final chapters, and I’ve already begun the third and final story in the series, Light of the Broken Tongue.

I still can’t quite believe I’m writing this, but Scentless Sovarielle has reached 20,000 reads. Thank you to every single person who chose to spend time in this world, with these characters, and with Elle’s story. What started as something very personal has grown into something I get to share with so many of you, and that means more than I can say.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve begun working on Book Three of the Scentmarked series, Light of the Broken Tongue. Because there will be some timeline overlap with the final chapters of Crowned in Flame and Storm, I wanted to start early to make sure the transition between the stories feels seamless and intentional.
          
          While doing this, I’ve also taken the opportunity to update a few character images in both Scentless Sovarielle and Crowned in Flame and Storm. You may notice notifications that certain chapters have been updated—this is simply to reflect those changes.
          
          These updates include:
          
          Updating or refining some character images
          
          Adding new images to chapters that previously didn’t have them
          
          Fixing a few spelling and grammar errors
          
          No major story content has changed, but I’d love for you to take a moment to check out the new visuals if you get the chance.
          
          Book Three, Light of the Broken Tongue, is already underway, and I’m so excited for you to see what’s coming next. ✨
