Michael Ernst Noll was born in 1981 in Werneck and grew up in southern Upper Bavaria - a region shaped by mountains, lakes, and strong-willed characters. To this day, he has remained true to his profession as an IT specialist, where numbers and systems pay the bills, but stories have always fascinated him far more than databases.

When he is not writing, he is on the move - cycling, hiking in the mountains, or traveling across Europe. He enjoys learning languages, stepping into the amateur boxing ring, and playing darts and chess. His novels often carry a touch of the mysterious, inspired by real encounters, strange coincidences, and places that seem to hide more than they reveal.

In 2017, he began working on his first novel, Französischer Schnee (French Snow), which he published independently under the MNbooks label. More books followed, but his first major breakthrough came in 2021 with Spur durch die Zeit (Trail Through Time) - where he combined local Bavarian color with mystery elements for the first time. This unique blend of meticulous research, atmospheric settings, and compelling characters introduced him to a steadily growing readership.
