Dear Wattpad Family,

For a long time, this platform has been a place where I shared pieces of my imagination and my heart. But the journey here hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced setbacks, discouragement, and even the pain of seeing my stories copied. Each moment tested how much I believed in myself and my voice as a writer.

Over time, I’ve come to realize something deeply important: I wasn’t showing up as my most authentic self. As an African American writer, I began to feel that my stories weren’t fully reflecting the voices, experiences, and characters that are a part of who I am. I held parts of myself back, and in doing so, my writing didn’t always represent the truth of my perspective.

There were also moments when I felt discouraged after being turned down by Wattpad creators I hoped to collaborate with. Those experiences hurt more than I expected, but they also pushed me to reflect on what I truly want my writing to stand for.

Because of that reflection, I’ve decided to take my stories down and step away for a while to rebrand and rebuild from the ground up. I’m not entirely sure what this next chapter will look like yet, and it may take time. But I know that when I return, I want my stories to fully represent my voice, my culture, and the authenticity I’ve come to realize is so important.

This isn’t about regret. I’m proud of the stories I wrote and grateful for everything I created here. Those stories were part of my growth, and they helped shape the writer I’m becoming. Starting over isn’t giving up—it’s choosing to grow.

Thank you to everyone who read my work, supported me, and shared this journey with me. Your encouragement has meant more than you know.

For now, I’m stepping back to rediscover my voice and create something that truly feels like me.

          	With gratitude,
          	YoursTruly

But very understanding. Always write the story you want to tell. Especially if it's something that speak to your heart and who you truly are. Those who were meant to love and appreciate the message will do so. Honestly, you're a great writer and I feel like you should also consider self publishing your stories on Amazon. I will definitely read it there too. The same loyal readers who love the stories will follow you there.
I have seen so many new Wattpad writers who are publishing the same stories here and on Amazon Kindle Unlimited and are doing great. You can do the same.

Claire just went through a LOT in these past chapters. She’s bruised, confused, and trying to figure out what’s next.

I want to know what you’re thinking:

How do you feel about Claire in this moment?

What do you hope she learns about herself next?

Where do you want to see her grow in her arc?

How can Magic be here friend teach her positive things and not the hero?

Let me know your thoughts and believe me team chocolate strawberry is going to make you laugh, cry. and throw your phone!

I tried but hey, you're going to get the whole show okayyy. This is the ending of ACT I and ACT II is way more healing and fun until Halloween *evil laugh* I know its a lot to take in but being in the mess of something so painful brings beauty, joy and healing. I cannot wait for Claire's healing journey and I cannot wait for you all to experience it! Some chapters are long, some chapters are short but your going get the movie like experience!

let me know what you think! more coming your way!

@NovemberRule Don't take too much out. Like the post above commented, just make it two chapters back to back.
