I want to share something honestly with all of you.
Recently, I started reading a book titled The Disguised of an Alpha / The Alpha Disguised by sinfulshevles. As I kept reading, I began noticing a very clear pattern in the writing style, the repetition, the phrasing, and the overall tone felt extremely similar to AI-generated content.
Since I regularly use AI tools for my studies, I’m familiar with how they “sound.” So, out of genuine curiosity (not disrespect), I politely asked the author whether the book was written independently or generated with AI assistance. Instead of a simple clarification, the response I received was defensive, and my comment was later deleted.
That raised concerns for me.
I continued reading, but by the end, I genuinely felt like I had invested my time in something that didn’t feel authentic. I even cross-checked portions of the text using AI detection tools, and the results strongly indicated that the content was almost entirely AI-generated.
After that, I tried to address it again, but now I’ve been blocked by the author, so I can no longer view the book or their profile.
Now, this isn’t about attacking anyone. It’s about transparency and respect for readers and for writers.
Writing a book is an art. It takes time, effort, and emotional investment. I’ve personally seen how difficult it is, someone close to me has been working on their writing for years, struggling to complete chapters. That kind of dedication deserves recognition.
So I just want to say this..
Please be mindful of what you choose to read. I’m not forcing anyone, but I would encourage you to support stories that come from genuine effort and creativity. At the very least, authors should be honest about how their work is created.
As readers, our time matters. And as writers, authenticity matters even more.
