Shrywritess

Recently, I lost my father, and because of this, I’m unable to focus on anything. I have exams coming up soon. I know that for some people this might seem like an excuse, but right now I’m not able to write or do anything. I’m really sorry, but I need to take a short break for now..

Aanya, stop," Adwait said, his voice slightly louder now, laced with warning.

She could see it-he was about to snap. Yes, yes, now he'll lose it, she thought, a thrill sparking in her chest.

But instead of reacting with anger, Adwait simply leaned back in the chair, eyes locked on hers. Then, without a word, he began to unbutton his shirt-slowly, deliberately-each movement exaggerated, until he yanked it off and tossed it aside.

Aanya's eyes widened. Her jaw dropped. Shock flooded her face.

"Ahhh! Shameless!" she shouted, spinning on her heel and making a dash for it.

But he was faster. Adwait stood in a flash, reached out, and caught her wrist mid-stride. She turned, her hand already balled into a fist, aiming straight for his face. But he caught it mid-air.

In one smooth motion, he twirled her under his arm like a dancer, then leaned in and pressed a bold kiss to her left cheek.

Her mouth dropped open again-outrage, disbelief, and something else flickering in her eyes.

She didn't hesitate. This time she lifted her knee, aiming for his stomach, but he caught her leg with ease. Sliding one arm under her knee and the other around her waist, he bent her slightly backward in a dramatic dip. Before she could wriggle free, he kissed her right cheek.

          Then-thud.

          He let go.

Aanya landed squarely on the floor, right on her backside.

Crossing his arms over his bare chest, Adwait looked down at her, a smug smile playing on his lips.

          "You lost," he said.

Hello author sorry for posting without permission but please do read my story

Saloni Malhotra finds solace in two things: the pages of her dark romance novels and her dream of a career. But in a home where her worth is measured by her skin tone and her obedience, her dreams are a luxury she can't afford. When her family forces her into an arranged marriage, she expects a life of quiet misery.

Suryansh Ranvijay Randhawa is a billionaire tycoon known for his ruthless heart of ice. His only soft spot is his four-year-old daughter, Samaira. When his mother gives him an ultimatum-find a wife or one will be chosen for him-he makes a cold, calculated decision. He will marry, but it will be a business transaction. Nothing more.

Their worlds collide in a marriage neither wanted.

He offered a contract. But love had other plans.

Can a gentle bookworm melt the heart of a man who believes love is a weakness? Can a man haunted by his past learn to trust the woman his mother chose?

And when a secret from Suryansh's past threatens to destroy everything, will their marriage of convenience shatter-or become the one thing that saves them both?

This is a story of clashing worlds, unexpected love, and the healing power of a little girl's smile.
