Today, before you read the epilogue, I want to be a little honest with you all.
I know it took me a long time to post this epilogue. And yes, I’m aware it’s been months. But there’s a reason behind it.
When I started writing Mistaken Love, I wrote it with so much love, effort, and thought. I invested my time, my emotions, and my mind into every scene and every character. But for a long time, the reads and comments just… didn’t come. And I won’t lie it disappointed me.
When I posted “Truth” and the chapter “Darkest Twist ,” I had a lot of expectations. These chapters was the reason I wrote the entire story. I was hoping for reactions, feelings, something But there was silence.
That silence hurt more than I expected. It slowly took away my motivation to write.
Still, I didn’t give up on the story. I didn’t leave it incomplete. I finished Mistaken Love because I believed it deserved an ending, even when my heart wasn’t in the right place anymore.
That’s why I couldn’t bring myself to write an epilogue or bonus chapters back then.
I know I’m a small creator, but the effort, emotions, and time are very real. And sometimes, appreciation or the lack of it does affect us more than we admit.
But recently, when some of you started commenting, appreciating my writing, and asking for an epilogue… something changed.
It motivated me again. It reminded me why I started writing in the first place.
So this epilogue is for those people.
The ones who stayed.
The ones who understood the story.
The ones who showed love, even if it was late.
Thank you for giving Mistaken Love another chance and for giving me one too.
I hope you haven’t forgotten Kabir and Isha and the journey they shared, This is a long chapter.
