            a frown was quick to grow on sokolov’s face , he always did try .  in fact , this time around there was more thought put into his latest creations .  his magnum opus.. the endless [d]eath .  in the competitive world of selling , sokolov wanted to make a virus so interesting that it would put others to same .  something new and interesting , he wasn’t one for bland or boring .  heck , he even hated things that have already been done before .  this was just the beginning though , a test.. from here it’d only become worse .  “ you wound my heart  ,  truly .  ”  the frown he’d been wearing was quick to fade , that sickening smile following back once again .  “ i can assure you this is like NOTHING you’ve ever seen..  this is only a ‘test run’ however .  for ‘progress’  ,  of course .  ”

            If Nate could—he would have ran his hand over his face, in partial disbelief (but should he even be surprised at this point)? Not really. Maybe it’s his fault for expecting something [else] but fate seems to laugh at his misfortune. “Really now. [You] tried. I find that hard to believe.” His eyes wander over to where Sokolov is having a party to himself; sickening joy over a new creation—a dry laugh from Nate. One he can’t stop himself from letting out.

            “ you sound almost disappointed .  and to think i really tried hard this time..  though this is only a ‘testing’ phase  ,  i’m afraid .  you’re witnessing in real time my NEWEST creation !  ” sokolov seemed pleased with himself , as if the idea of effecting countless lives meant absolutely nothing to him .

            A sound escapes Nate’s mouth,  something that [could have] been mistaken for a laugh in any other situation.  No,  the expression on his face paints a pretty clear picture,  a sneer [almost] curls on his face.  Before it disappears as quickly as it appeared.  “So,  that’s your plan for the rest of your life until we finally catch up.”  Not that he cares about it,  just taunting.  Nate takes in the room subtly,  eyes scanning for possible escape routes—places he might be able to radio in if he did have to chase.  Or  ..  (immobilize if needed).

            / like a bug <3  i need to make him an mbs so i can go further into his backstory .  still need to figure out the name of his virus and what it does but i suck at that , i want it to have a cool name..

Maybe more than others who have come after you,  playing this twisted cat-and-mouse with you.”  No,  Nate’s not stupid—he’s alone with a man who has slipped through more fingers than he can count on.  People have tried,  and he has vanished before them,  Nate will be another of those people.  Split from his group,  no backup,  just him.  “You already knew you would come out of this alive,  free again.  You knew from the moment I stepped through that door.”  A setup,  a probable one.  Nate had accounted for it,  wouldn’t be surprised if he [planned] an ambush.  In all honesty,  he expected something—anything.

* ANDREI V.P. SOKOLOV (he / him) — a man tied to weapon deals , viruses , bioweapons , and hacking . there is nothing that hides from him , he lacks no shame .  from russia to the u.s. , he’s willing to make a deal..  so long as the price serves him right .  
            
            he is wanted not only by blue umbrella but by several anti-bioweapon organizations and yet , none are able to catch him .  sokolov is unattainable , gone as soon as he arrives .  with former ties linking him to umbrella , a long history due to his father .  there’s no telling just how willing sokolov is in achieving his goal..  to simply enjoy his sickening fascination .
