Hi, I've added a new poem 'Fragments of You' to the self reflections collection. Have look at it if you have time.

When I posted this earlier, I over edited it, it lost its meaning.

@frayrays Hmm. I guess if that's your problem you could try to have collections with broader subjects. Conversely this could be your thing. Some creators put a new book for each poem after all and engagement does seem to drop off after around 12 entries.

"where we once lived" is definitely punchier but their something impersonal or vaguely sinister about "the spaces" that I really like.

@novelistASH I could start a new collection but then the old one will only have 2 and I'm trying to break that habit of having all my poem sectioned and create one collection. I'm deciding between 'the spaces we once lived' or slightly difference 'where we once lived'

@frayrays You could start a new collection to represent that shift. Plus new covers can be fun. Do you have a working title?

Hi, and thank you for choosing The Nanny Contract for your collection, I hope you find it worth your while.

frayrays

@lyttlejoe true. I think I overplan next year I'll plan but I'll try to get the first 2000 words out.
But will definitely read yours and others. I'm all for supporting this year.

Big mistake. You shouldn't stifle your creativity. I write for myself, if others can enjoy it that's a bonus. The fun is in the writing.

I planned a novel out with this prompt but didn't want to write it.

Greetings Farah,

Thank you for adding Emberfall to your reading list. I hope you enjoy the read as much as I love writing it.

It's too bad you didn't join in the ONC fun. Maybe next year.

And thanks again for adding Emberfall. I appreciate the support.

@Space_Queen_Q it was already on my list. I just made it public. I haven't yet read it but I will. I chickened out of writing my ONC but I'm here to support those who are writing theirs.

Thanks for following me, I also live in the UK, Bristol where we also get rain every two seconds! Ha, ha. This summer has been a wash out!
I will read some of your work when I have a moment.

@frayrays - I enjoyed the time I had during Covid. I knitted a cardigan and did a few little projects and we had a really lovely spring and summer in 2020, it was fabulous! Although, the whole thing was quite terrifying for me.

@Polllardii when you're young, most of the time is spent working raising a family, when you're retired (my mum is) the time is spent doing other things, other projects. The only time when I felt there was so much time was during covid. Everything had stopped.

@frayrays - The weather used to be better when I was a child in the 1950's and 1960's we used to have 'Flaming June' when it was hot for the whole month. Summers were better on the whole.
I am retired, but still there are no more hours! Where does the time go?
