Hiii!! I'm Kyrpto, and I've been reading on Wattpad since Grade 5. The very first story I read was Altheria Academy: School of Alchemy by our beloved author Reynald. Ever since then, reading stories and novels on Wattpad has become one of the things that truly helps me relax and escape from reality. Over time, I've read so many stories, and each one has brought me into a different world.
The genres I enjoy the most are fantasy, romance, a bit of mystery, horror, dark romance, and many more. I especially love stories with green flag characters, and sometimes I enjoy a little bit of mature content too-it's just one of the ways I express myself through the stories I choose to read. I also love BL and GL stories. I don't really know when it started, but one day I just found myself exploring those genres and enjoying them as much as the others.
I've also learned to explore beyond my favorite genres instead of limiting myself, which helped me discover even more amazing stories. Although I don't like waiting for new chapters, I understand how difficult writing can be. I've tried writing a story myself, and I know how challenging it is, especially with grammar and organizing ideas, since I'm still a Grade 10 student. That experience made me appreciate authors even more for their hard work and dedication.
When you read stories on Wattpad, you get to meet different kinds of characters-your prince charming, a damsel in distress, a villain, and so many more. Through reading, I feel free from society's expectations, judgment, discrimination, and bullying. It gives me a safe space where I can just be myself and feel understood.
I believe that stories can teach us many things, whether good or bad, and they often leave us with meaningful lessons that we can carry in real life.
