Author, Jerry Collins retired in July 2023 from songwriting and FedEx Indianapolis after 24 years. Jerry sometimes uses J.L. Collins, Kyle Cooke or Hoosier Haunts as his pen names. Writing is where I bring all the strange, spiritual, and heartfelt moments of life together. He's also been a retired ghost hunter too, which means he has seen and felt more than most-and now, Jerry writes to share those experiences in ways that connect with people from all walks of life.

I don't promote my books in the usual sense. I usually create a Goodreads Giveaway for my books. Some of my books have become best sellers on Amazon after appearing on Goodreads Giveaways without stars or reviews. Many of my other books do have stars and reviews too. Goodreads Giveaway cost $119 per book but the traffic I received is plenty. Goodreads awards members 100 ebooks and usually tells me how many entered and how many want to read my book. 

My Short Romance series is slowly getting some updates and will eventually be added to Wattpad. I have 18 books but few are updated. 

Before writing books, I was writing music. I ranked #1 Global, #1 National, #1 Regional and #1 Local in Spiritual Music for ReverbNation.  Since taking an early retirement in 2023, I am not writing music but I may decide to share my music lyrics here too. Please be advised They are copyrighted. Do Not Steal Them.
