            when i was little i also wanted to live in the us, and although i had some "americanization" since puerto rico is a territory from the us, i'm so glad to no be part of the real "american culture". as a matter of fact, i even hate the appropriation of the word "american" because us people from latinamerican know that anyone born in the entire continent (north america + south america + the caribbean) is an american by default. but yeah, thanks god i'm puerto rican and latina!
