                . . . * a low growl escaped the man . some awareness was still in this zombie though , he didn't move . almost as if recognized the person . *

                 they would tug at the chains more , trying to lean towards the other to bite . but when he realized he couldn't exactly do that with the muzzle , he stopped . rowan wasn't completely mindless , not completely aggressive yet . 

"ah  ..  sorry about those.  it's  ..  probably safe to take them off now."  jude gnawed at his lip as he considered undoing the binds.  "the second you try to attack me  ,  I'm locking you up even tighter."

                eyes would narrow at this , body moving to try and reach for the other . of course , the chains stopped that from happening and it only upsetted him more truly .

                 `` you're unbelievable . `` they huffed out , despite the big smile growing on face . `` only if you want me to start crying with you . `` 

"sure am!  is it working?"  she smiled brightly at the other.  "I can probably bring out a few tears too  ,  if that'll help."

                 eyes would roll as rowan wrapped his arms around jude's neck . `` you're really playing that card , huh ? `` 

a sob bubbled up inside of his chest  ,  eyes searching rowan's face in hopes of finding even the slightest bit of his former self.  he momentarily considered letting rowan bite him  —  anything was okay as long as they were together.  but he knew he had other people to find  —  the kid's were out there  —  he could never forgive himself if he didn't even try to look for them.

                 only a growl of frustration left the man at being refrain of his single minded goal . he was STARVING  . no matter how much he had already taken , it hadn't been enough .
