The crack in the earth widened.
At first it looked like a normal fracture in the ground.
But then—
Dark mist began pouring out of it.
Thick.
Cold.
Unnatural.
Lucian stepped back slowly.
“…That’s not good.”
Rowan stared at the spreading crack.
“Please tell me that’s just smoke.”
Elias shook his head.
“No.”
His voice was tense.
“That’s void mist.”
The Alpha King’s golden eyes hardened.
“A gate.”
The Blood Emperor stood proudly beside the growing rift in the earth.
Red lightning flashed across the darkening sky above him.
“Yes.”
His voice echoed across the battlefield.
“You’re finally starting to understand.”
The crack suddenly tore open wider.
The ground collapsed inward as the dark mist rose higher into the air.
Something ancient was on the other side.
Something powerful.
Aria felt it immediately.
Her silver aura flickered violently.
The Primordial spirit inside her whispered again.
This should not exist.
Lucian looked at her quickly.
“What is it?”
Aria’s eyes stayed locked on the opening gate.
“…Another world.”
Rowan blinked.
“…Excuse me?”
The Blood Emperor laughed.
“For centuries our world has been limited.”
He spread his arms wide.
“Tonight that changes.”
The dark mist swirled faster.
Inside the growing gate—
Shapes began moving.
Lucian’s face went pale.
“…There’s something in there.”
The dragon growled loudly.
Its wings spread again, clearly uneasy.
Even the Dark Alpha stepped back slightly.
The creatures from the other side were not like the monsters they had fought.
These were different.
Older.
More dangerous.
The Blood Emperor raised both hands toward the sky again.
The red lightning above responded instantly.
“Come forth.”
The gate pulsed.
Then—
A claw slowly emerged from the darkness.
But it wasn’t a wolf claw.
And it wasn’t scaled like the dragon.
It was long.
Thin.
Almost skeletal.
Rowan’s voice dropped.
“…Nope.”
The claw gripped the edge of the gate.
Then another appeared beside it.
Slowly—
A tall figure pulled itself through the darkness.
Its body was thin and unnaturally long.
Black skin stretched tightly across sharp bones.
And its eyes…
They glowed pure white.
Lucian whispered quietly,
“…What is that?”
Elias answered under his breath.
“Something that should have stayed sealed.”
More shapes began moving behind the first creature.
Dozens of glowing white eyes appeared inside the gate.
The Blood Emperor smiled widely.
“My army.”
Aria stepped forward slowly.
Her silver power flared again.
The dragon moved beside her.
The Dark Alpha lowered its massive head beside them.
Lucian sighed.
“Well.”
Rowan nodded.
“Here we go again.”
But Aria wasn’t looking at the creatures.
She was staring at the gate itself.
Because the Primordial spirit inside her had gone silent again.
Completely silent.
And that had never happened before.
Her voice came out barely above a whisper.
“…Something bigger is coming.”
The ground trembled again.
This time the shaking came from inside the gate.
Even the white-eyed creatures stopped moving.
The Blood Emperor frowned slightly.
Then—
A massive shadow moved behind them in the darkness.
Far larger than anything that had stepped through so far.
Lucian slowly lifted his eyes toward the gate.
“…What did he just unleash?”
