the 18 year old Firelord, Zuko, travels with the gang to a mysterious island where the people live a completely different life. A few things go wrong and they end up having to stay there for a while. From different cuisines to festivals, they manage to find a girl who seems to know a lot about the place. Amidst the ongoing Hundred Year War, Toph Beifong didn't concern herself with the violence, injustice, and chaos of the outside world. She had other things on her mind. She grew up shielded from the world without friends, surrounded only by a rotation of security guards in a house large enough to get lost in. With overprotective parents who treated her like the thinnest glass, she seemingly had no one on her side before she left home to join the avatar team. Which is true. But not quite. She had someone. A girl who became her role model. That was her idol, the person who showed toph to be confident and courageous. But she left Gaoling before toph left with the gaang. And her side quests became to find her.

A reimagined, older, darker telling of the beloved Avatar: The Last Airbender. Zuko's at the end of his line. Katara is struggling to find the balance between wanting to develop her powers and being terrified of them.

Kya, Sokka's twin and Katara's older sister sets off on a journey through the Earth Kingdom with Zuko and Iroh in hopes of being able to spark a change in the world, even if on the outside it may be a small insignificant one. As she struggles to choose between her logic and her emotions, Kya learns more of herself past the calm, and expressionless person she once was not to long ago, and along the way she discovers a sense of happiness she never felt before, a feeling she couldn't understand. Yukina is a rare Ice Bender. Yukina was taken in by the Air nomads when she was a child, even though she was never taught the way of air bending, she helped taking care of the children by playing music or performing a little puppet show with her ice bending. A couple of years passed, Yukina was 17 and she grew up to be a beautiful young girl, even earning a nickname Snow Beauty. Then one day, she was appointed on watching over the Aang, the Avatar. She was unsure about accepting the position, but knew she needs to since they took care of her from when she was a young child. But one night, Aang ran away from the Air Temple, he was unaware that Yukina was with him as well. She tried to convince Aang to return to the Air Temple, but they were caught in a terrible storm and the next thing they knew, 100 years has come to pass. They were both found by Katara and Sokka in the Southern Water Tribe, and they were told the hard truth about what happened to the other Air Nomads and the ongoing war against the Fire Nation. When a Fire Nation ship came to Southern Water Tribe, Yukina fought against the soldiers in order to protect the people of the village, when the soldiers used their fire bending on the village, Yukina used her ice bending and the flames froze. That caught Prince Zuko's attention, he never seen a bender freeze fire before or a girl like her before

Without a torch, he stumbles around in the dark for hours, until he bumps into an old frenemy. Not knowing what else to do, he decides to stick with the newcomer to see if they could figure something out together. ---------------------------------------- Zuko had left his uncle the previous day and hadn't meant to get lost in a bunch of cursed tunnels, but it had rained so hard he'd had to find shelter. Blind from the rain in his eyes, he had stumbled into a cave and the next thing he knew, the exit had vanished. So that left walking in deeper. Little did Zuko know, he would find more in the darkness than the suspected badger moles.

I am the only child of avatar Roku. That used to be a good thing, until Sozin came along. After my dad found out Sozin wanted to declare war, he sent me off to the southern air temple to live with the nomads until it all blows over. I guess he was trying to keep me safe.
