Inspired by a dream and the ONC 2026 contest, this novella takes you into the incredible world of Altara, and the story of a mermaid who lives there and is about to change the history of her world to save someone she loves. Brooke Hyland will do anything to dance no matter what happens to her she will even push away love. In her senior year she is forced to make a project with her partner Alex Bryce who broke up with Violet. Alex wants to make Violet's senior year the worst! That's where Brooke comes in. That's the reality for our protagonist 'Rat' who spends his days usually making runs for whoever is paying the most so he can provide for his apartment complex. He and his team, 'The ratpack,' are infamous for their willingness to do almost anything for the right price. After a job leads to more questions than they have answers to, they make their to a massive wall, that they never gave a second thought until now, that may be hiding the truth

Coltan and Ani have worked for the princess for years and now, they finally have their first "real" mission; to guard an old, deserted shack miles away from the nearest civilization. Yay.
