In a post-apocalyptic world a parasitic virus has devastated humanity. The story centers around William, the brother of the man who created the virus, and Avril, one of the infected who is still holding onto his humanity. Both are fighting for their lives, fighting for the ones they love, and fighting for a cure.

Over seven billion people have died as a worldwide disease has spread over a matter of weeks. One by one, kids emerge from their sickbeds across the area and begin meeting up with those kids that were never afflicted. They range in age and abilities but share the need to survive. Together, they find ways to find food, water and shelter and some even seem to fall in love on the way. They decide what is important in a world that is left to only them. Others emerge that threaten and attack them, and the last of the adults in the world are not usually people they would want to ask for help. This is the first of The Meek series and the beginning of the new lives of Abby, Michael, Becky and Charles and others.

Book One This story is basically the actual alternative universe where Ray was born to normal humans rather than Primordials, this is basically where Chaos and Lexas sent him when Drugon first attacked and when he disappeared from his dimension this story explains what happened to him and then how he finally returns,also I will be changing some things from Rise of the Supreme King, (it's now called Beginning of the End) because it need more work and it need to make sense with this story, also he is a normal human...who has the blood of the strongest dragon flowing through his veins He was unloved by his family so unloved that his parents didn't give him a name, he is hated by everyone except for his parent's maid Lydia, she loved the child as if he was her own child but hid these feelings whenever her mistress and master were around, they were wealthy people and would often leave home for days so they wouldn't have to be around him, Lydia was always happy when they left because then she can care for the child and not hide her true feelings, she kept this hidden from the mistress and master for seven years but then was found out when the parent return home a few days early, they then ordered the guards to have them both killed Lydia having been a warrior long ago fought back with all her strength, but knew she wouldn't win she ordered the child who had come to call her mom to run and not look back the boy knowing better than to argue with his mother, he ran away, he didn't run very far when he heard his mother screams of pain and soon heard people running after him, he ran until he collapsed from exhaustion and then she appears, she offers him a place where he will have a family who will truly care for him and also offers him a name.
