Brianna Mclaughlin is the second daughter in a long line of ranchers and also has a crush on Jack, who works for her dad Rob Mclaughlin, who loves that his daughter feel in love but also doesn't like how she goes and finds a wild mustang on their land and brings it home and goes behind his back to train it. ------------------------------------------------------- "Daddy, I can train her and I know I can!" I yelled at my dad who wasn't so happy with the certain situation here. He shook his head "no you won't, now listen Brianna your going to follow what I say. Look at me!" I turn my head to look at him "no one, goes in that fence". And with that he rode off and went to do what he does. I looked at Flicka who was going crazy, "calm down Flicka!" I whispered yelled but my mom heard me and looked at me shocked "you named her!?". She asked and I nodded my head "Flicka" she dropped her head and shook her head. I looked over at Gus and Jack "that's the name right?" I asked Gus and he nodded his head "yeah, a young, beautiful girl" Jack nodded his head "well you got the wild and girl part right".

A young college student, Cassie, comes back from her school, and comes back to her family's ranch, which is like a little vet for thoroughbred horses. But, not wild horses. Especially Mustangs. But, when Cassie finds a beautiful black, and extremely wild horse, which she calls Flicka (Flicka means beautiful young girl), her dad calls a wild horse trainer to take the horse away. But, what will Cassie do? Will Cassie let them slaughter the horse, or will she redeem herself and get back the one and only horse that she loves?
