Alysha Anderson, a daughter of Lt. Hank Anderson, is a complete opposite of her father who hates androids. She, on the other hand, sees more humanity in androids than in humans themselves. With her heart full of kindness, she tries to make androids feel like they are more than machines, for her, they are living beings. A lot obstacles await her, but thanks to one miracle, she's able to overcome them all. This story is based on one ship: Markus x Alysha Feel free to put your own name instead of Alysha. The United States of America are suffering hard times. Nationwide demonstration and violence against the androids due rising unemployment rates, more and more deviants on the run and a country on the brink of civil war. And within all the chaos do a human and an android fall for each other with their lives are on the line, changing the fate of their people - together. Rare use of Y/N, she gets a nickname.

Detroit: Become Human AU, where it is instead set in a high school. --- He flew past you. That was the best way to describe it. The way he moved was like a bird taking flight. You wouldn't think his feet were touching the ground at all, if it weren't for the quiet sound of the crunching shoes on soil. The blue triangle on the back of his uniform turned into a blur as he raced past the other members of the team. They were there, but all you truly saw was him. He must have felt your gaze on him, because suddenly he halted. Time was frozen now. You stood there motionless, as he turned to meet your eyes. "...Who was that?" You just managed to gasp out. "Hm? Oh, that. Connor. His name is Connor." --- At your last school, you were known as 'the swan'. You were a dancer. You always had been. But a certain incident left you not only with physical scars, but it also left you with a lack of confidence. Now, transferring into Detroit High School, you hoped to get through the year without anyone knowing who you were in the past. That was, until you met two certain boys, who vow to teach you how to fly again. - Genres of drama, comedy, and romance. There are no androids in this story; all androids are portrayed as humans instead. It is set in modern times, not in the future as Detroit: Become Human is. There is foul language in this story!! This is a work of fanfiction based off the game Detroit: Become Human. The characters in the story are owned by David Cage and the creators of Detroit: Become Human. 'Flightless Bird' is a story told from my imagination and it is for entertainment purposes only. :) I am writing this as I go along so if you have any ideas or future requests for the story let me know!

(let me know what you think) I had an idea to make a story where the reader gets to decide what happens and since DBH has so many possibilities, I wanted to make a book that changes based on what you decide, just like the game! At this point, this is only a concept, but I wrote the first chapter and I wanna know what you think! I'm still unsure whether to write all the outcomes and tell the reader what chapter to go to for which choice they make (I would not make a Kara route), or to let the readers vote and then write the next chapter (Kara route would be one of the voting options). Please let me know what you think and which way I should write it!!!
