It doesn't help that they and the other Surface Dwellers are always in fear of being abducted. Rachel Brown lives in the Glass City, a massive city that hovers above the west coast of Ireland. But the City hides an ugly secret, even from Rachel: without the slaves from the Surface, the City would fall. Chaos erupts when Peter is ripped from the Surface to be a slave for the mayor of the Glass City-Rachel's father-leaving Felix behind with near fatal injuries. Both Rachel and Peter's worlds are shattered as Peter fights to get back to his brother and Rachel learns just how monstrous the people of the Glass City really are.

This is my first poem and it's about the inner courage and clear knowing that we all have sewed into us. To enlighten you more about this poem, intentionally I wrote this poem to express my unique writing style and to engage with a broad audience of people to clarify if it's possible that my writing does in fact aid its way into people's personal lives. If my writing and writing style impacts minds positively then I'm sculpting my truth the right way. Again, in all compassion I do hope anyone who reads my poetry leaves with an awe in admiration of my hopeful, true, and angelic wisdomology.

This is the story of... 'Diary of Asparagus' (translates into 'Diary of a sparrow called Gus'). Gus is completely bored with only living within his territory of 4000 flaps and so he leaves it to explore the big, wide world to see what he can see... Gus, see's different things and takes some great shots along the way... Diary entries begin tomorrow :) **If you have any interesting photos from around the coast of NZ, I'd love to add them into his story*** Please send them and let me know where they have been taken. Gus may very well visit these places you show me :)

The girl he's been dreaming about has just turned up as school, and he feels compelled to protect her at all costs.
