- basic info - Hiccup had a friend by the name of Merita that was mostly known as Mery, she was a runt and a outcast like him, Merita had hidden feelings for Hiccup but hid them to protect herself from rejection, a feeling she's known most of her life. when Merita saw Hiccup and the other riders leave Berk to fight the red death she was heart broken that Hiccup didn't try to ask her for help. When he and everyone else got back and once Hiccup was awake Merita and Hiccup got into a agruement causing Hiccup to say something he didn't mean to say which caused Merita to run into the woods, disappearing from Berk, until she reappeared years later as a completely different person. ( P.s: in this fic Hiccup and Astrid are just friends but they used to date, no hate on Hiccstrid ) - how is this kinda an Au?- in this universe, Merita's boss had sent someone to kill Drago and grimmel after Hiccup defeated traitor Johann which were both successful. -disclaimer- I don't own Httyd or the franchise or characters or the cover, I only own my Ocs.
