This is where the legend of the Shadow Dragon and The Shadow Rider.

Everyone on Berk knows the story: Hiccup, the outsider, was killed by a Night Fury. No one doubts it. In reality, he ran away with Toothless - the night before he was supposed to kill the monstrous Nightmare. Far away from Berk, Hiccup builds a completely new life with dragons - but his past is slowly, inevitably catching up with him...

ITS HICCSTRID!! This has been written over the course of about 4 years, so if you don't want to put up with the cringe writing feel free to skip to 'wait! She's your...' because that's when the writing starts to go uphill :) Most are based during/after rtte and httyd 2. A couple set either earlier or later. Only one modern. What if after being slain by the hunter, a fragment of Zoh Shia found its way to the ocean of the forbidden lands and drifted away to unknown lands, the barbaric archipelago, what would happen if the Landspire somehow went further than the Forbidden lands, what if the barbaric archipelago was secretly rich in Wylk, all hidden away from dragons and Vikings alike, what if it was rich enough to allow Zoh Shia to reform, what would happen when a creature made to destroy is unleashed in this new world, when there are those who could change the purpose it was made for?
