Silverlining Stories

Of course, this is inspired by Matthew Quick's Silver Linings Playbook.

A long overdue compilation of struggles I've faced recently and how I overcame them, more in the intro.

Just bits and pieces of me I want to leave behind cuz I want to be remembered for my words. Also it is not like I am dying but yeah just because.

This is a journey through the life of a teen named Theresa. From the past through the present, you'll understand your future.

She is ethereal and mysterious; her mind swims at a depth most would drown in. She is a pure heartache. Beautiful, charming but difficult to understand. She's always around, sometimes floats in different directions, this represents her soul's duality. She is the ultimate enchantress and her heart is an ocean of emotion; always dreaming of realms only she may enter. He is a restless wanderer; always hunting for new ideas and experience. High spirited and congenial, he is a gifted conversationalist, a wonderful storyteller and a born entertainer. His heart is full of desire for direction and looking for his true purpose. He is a maven of adventure, the learned healer whose higher intelligence forms a bridge between heaven and earth. Their personalities were poles apart yet fate let them meet. In a place where a lovely tale began; the Land of Dawn.

You can't force someone to be different or better for you or anyone else. You can't change the past or the person. You can chose anger and disappointment if your hopes for someone don't pan out, but it's so much better for your heart to accept things you don't understand or like as reality and be happy that you grew just by seeing things as they are. You grew, you learned something new, you are a better person for offering forgiveness and moving on. It's hard when your children look to you for answers you don't have, but everyone will be ok if you're ok. Feel everything, the good, the bad, the ugly, but then set it down somehow (I write about it) so that you can smile and laugh with joy you can only feel without the weight of the negative behind your breast.

Cold and bruised, left with my broken smiles and shattered dreams. There's still sunshine beneath the clouds, find your ray of sunshine, find your silver lining. Don't become the corpse.
