Day 22: "I don't care what you think as long as it's about me!!" My phone ringtone went off.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Heyyy, Its me Dipali, I was wondering what math homework was?" I rolled my eyes, why would Dipali as me that? Didn't she know I sucked at math?
"Why are you asking me? I suck at maths." I could practically hear Dipali fuming at my statement. She hated it when I called myself stupid.
"You don't suck at math! Now hurry up and tell me what the homework was?" She demanded.
"Hold on," I said whilst pulling my bag which was on the bus floor next to me. Opening up my school diary I saw the due date .
"Okay, math is algebra exercise 7C and it is due next...Wednesday." That sucks, I have to do homework on the long weekend.
"Thanks Shania and good luck with the B&G."
B and G is what my friends called the twins who have captured my interest. This is because of their bag colours, Lucas' bag black and Axel's bag grey.
Perfect timing since the twins boarded the bus.
From no where I had a burst of confidence and I waved at the twins. They looked slightly surprised but waved back nonetheless.
Feeling happy with the new and confident me I continued the bus ride.
Disregarding the pained face Lucas had as he was talking on his phone.
