Day 31: Axle didn't board the bus and neither did Lola but Lucas sure did
"Lola broke up with me." Lucas said randomly while we were in a conversation about our lack of pets.
"She what?" I asked, my voice barely coming out as a whisper. Why on Earth was he telling me about this?
"I just thought I could ask you a couple of reasons as to why she might have broken up with me." Lucas said dejectedly, his posture hunching. I wanted to hug him.
And that is exactly what I did.
Wrapping my arms around him I felt his body sigh in relief; his arms caging around me. I felt protected, I wanted this to last but as usual the bus stop came and off went Lucas.
