"Through the hazy mountains I tread my trial of sorrows, yearning for the lost hope; somewhere among wilted yarrows." Passages and Thresholds is an intimate poetic journey through the landscape of an almost broken soul-from pain and disappointment to ultimate freedom and hope. It is a hero's journey to enlightenment, documented in verse. Author's Note: This collection is a mirror of my own journey. I am deeply open to your thoughts, reflections, and feedback, especially as English is not my native language. If my poetry finds a way to your heart, please let me know in the comments. Your perspective is a gift on this shared path.

*PERMANENTLY CLOSED. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY :)* So you want me to read your book. Deal. Loki-dokey. No problemo. But here's a few things you need to know first. 1. I will be doing a review on it in this book. And I will be blunt. If you're looking for honeyed words you're not going to find it here. If I like it I'll tell you and if I don't I'll tell you too. 2. I don't do vote for vote and follow for follow. If I vote for your book it's because I love it so much I probably added it to my library and am banging my head at my laptop waiting for updates. If I follow you it means the only thing stopping me from rushing up to you and screaming "I LOVE YOU AND YOUR STORIES SO MUCH ABSKDHSJFGHKLSW" is social etiquette and the fact that I have no idea who you really are. 3. Obviously my reviews are based on my preferences and obviously there will be people disagreeing with my opinions. And obviously a book I hate might be another person's fave - one man's meat is another man's poison and all that. And obviously the converse might be true. Obviously these things are obvious. But still I have to state these obvious things because some oblivious people don't get it. So come along then. Lemme read your books. ~amazing book cover by fictophilic~

So, I decided that I wanted to further expand my writing skills and shoot to enter a contest. The contest demands were I tell a story, but only use 75 words exactly. I wanted to post this story I created on Wattpad, and aim for having people read my work and give me feedback before the contest deadline. So for those future readers that would grant me the privilege of reading this short story, give me constructive feedback on how I could improve it , if the main idea is clear enough or if I need to clarify any of my details. Anything you could think of I would be happy with. I just want an outside opinion before I turn it in to the contest. I hope I get people to read this soon and I hope you guys enjoy my 75-word story! (Cover is not my work)
