Tessa's POV

The rest of the day, we just stayed on the couch and we cuddled. I missed being in his arms and I'm sure this time I won't do something stupid and broke up with him ever again. We ordered pizza and we ate together, then at night, we went to sleep. And I have to say that it was the best sleep I've ever had in the last weeks.

In the morning, I was woken up by my morning sickness, great. I quickly get up and I run to the bathroom before to mess up the floor. I sit in the front of the toilet and I throw up. A few moments later, I feel his hands taking my hair and he starts to rub my back, whispering beautiful things, trying to comfort me.

When I'm done, I flush the toilet and I want to take my toothbrush, but Hardin turns me to him.

"My morning kiss?"

"Maybe after I brush my teeth. I just thrown up, Hardin."

"I don't care. I like you how you are."

"My breath is awful."

"I don't even care." He drags me to him and he kisses me. "I love you. No matter what, Tess."

"I love you. Now, can you let me to do my morning routine, please?"

"Ok, fine. Want to eat something?"

"No. But can you prepare me my drink? I have a box with some vitamins."

"Sure."

Hardin leaves from the bathroom and I do my morning routine. After 10 minutes I'm done and I go to the kitchen where is my drink.

"Thank you." I kiss his cheek and I take a sip of my drink.

"You should drink a lot of water before the ultrasound."

"Yeah?"

"Yes. If you bladder is full, they can see the baby better."

"This is the advantage on having a doctor boyfriend?" I giggle.

"I think, yes."

After I finished my drink, I took my prenatal pills and we went to get dressed. Before to leave, I drunk a bottle of water and I took one for the ride. I let Hardin to drive because I don't think I can do this. I give him the address and in less than one hour we arrive at the hospital. My balder is really full and I could pee in this moment. I hope the ultrasound won't take too long.

"What's wrong, baby?"

"If I'm not going inside now, I'm going to..."

"Tessa Young?" A nurse calls my name.

"It's me."

"Doctor Taylor is waiting for you."

"Finally." We enter in the doctor's office.

"Hi! I'm doctor Julia Taylor and I'm your OB. As I know, you came for an ultrasound?"

"Yes." I nod.

"Good, go in the other room and there you will find a hospital gown. Put that on your and when you are done, call me."

"He can come with me?"

"For me it's not any problem."

I drag Hardin in the other room. I take off my t-shirt and my jeans and I find Hardin starring at me.

"What?" I ask him while I take my gown. "Can you knot it at my back?"

"Sure. Your boobs seem to be bigger."

"It's normal, right?" I say while he presses his lips on my shoulder.

"You are done."

"Thanks." I fold my clothes and I put them on the chair. "I have to take off my panties."

"And you want me to help you?" He smirks and I roll my eyes.

"No." I take off my panties and I let them over the clothes.

"I think these are confiscated until we arrive home." He smirks while he takes my panties and he sticks them in his jeans pocket. Oh, shit.

"Are you playing, Scott?" I say while I go to the door to call doctor Taylor.

"Maybe." He answers while doctor Taylor enter in the room.

"I want you to sit on the bed and to spread your legs, please. I'm going to do an internal ultrasound. As your pregnancy is so little, we can see better in this way what's happening." I do what she says and Hardin sits on the chair next to me. He keeps my hand tight. "I'm going to introduce this wand, you will feel a discomfort and some pressure, but I will do it slowly, ok?" I nod. She puts her gloves on and she starts the procedure. I feel a discomfort and I frown, but Hardin rubs the back of my hand. And a few moments later, doctor Taylor looks at the screen. "There he is." She shows a black spot on the screen. "It's 6 weeks and one day pregnancy. It's normal if you don't understand anything from this, but it's just an embryo in this moment, but in a few weeks, we can see every part of his body. Let's see if we can hear the heartbeat." She presses a button and we hear our baby's heartbeat. I feel tears on my cheeks and I look at Hardin. He is also emotional. I've never seen him like this. "Oh, this sounds good for six weeks. And as I can see, it has the perfect length for this age."

She took some pictures of our baby and then everything is done. She leaves us and I change with my clothes, then we go back in the other room.

"You have any questions?"

"It's not recommended to flight in first trimester, right?"

"Yes. As it's a big risk of miscarriage, we recommend to all pregnant women to avoid flights in the first trimester."

"For how long I will have this morning sickness?"

"It depends. For some women, this ends at the beginning of the second trimester, for the others in the third trimester. You can't just get away from them. But if you have a healthy lifestyle, this should be end soon. Do you take some prenatal vitamins?"

"Yes."

"That's good. Then, I recommend you to come for another check-up in five weeks. You will be 11 weeks pregnant and we will be able to see more."

"Thank you, doctor Taylor."

"It's a pleasure."
