Tessa's POV

It's been a few days since me and Hardin are engaged. We talked a lot about his parents moving in Chicago and we finally agreed that it's a good idea to have their parents here, to help us with our baby.

Today we are going to share the news with Steph and David. I hope everything will be fine. I know they are trying for a baby, but nothing is happening.

"Babe? Can you bring the snacks from the kitchen?"

"Sure!" He comes back with a bowl with snacks and I steal.

"Steph sent me a message, they should be here soon."

"Good." He comes to me and he kisses me. "You are feeling better now?"

"Yes. It was some acid reflux, but your pills helped me and I feel better."

"That's good. I talked with Olivia yesterday."

"Ok, and?"

"And I'm working less and I'm having the weekends free."

"You know you shouldn't do this now."

"I want to be here more, love." He kisses my forehead and we are interrupted by a knock at the door.

"I'm going to open." I go to the door and I open it.

Steph: "Tessa! Hi!" She hugs me.

Tessa: "Hi! Come in, guys!"

David: "Hello."

Hardin: "Hi!" We go to the couch and we want to tell them the news.

Tessa: "Well, we have some news..." I smile.

Steph: "You are moving back to Chicago?"

Tessa: "Well, yes. But..."

Hardin: "Me and Tessa got engaged last week."

Steph: "No way!!" She says excited and she hugs me then she hugs Hardin.

David: "Congrats, guys!"

Tessa: "And besides the fact that we are engaged and I'm back in Chicago... Me and Hardin are having a baby."

Steph: "What?"

Tessa: "I'm pregnant!"

Steph: "Jesus! Congrats! So good news! I'm so happy for you guys!"

David: "Congrats!"

Steph: "Well, we decided to keep this for us, but... We are expecting too! I'm pregnant in five weeks."

Tessa: "Oh, God! Finally!" I hug her. "I'm so happy for you!"

Steph: "Thank you. Can you believe that our babies will play together?"

Tessa: "Oh, yes." I giggle. "I can't wait to see this moment."

Hardin: "David? Let's let them to talk. C'mon in the kitchen."

David: "Yeah, good idea." He laughs and he goes with Hardin in the kitchen.

"And how many weeks you have?"

"Thirteen weeks and five days."

"Shit! You got pregnant at my wedding!"

"Yeah, that's when it happened."

"And this baby brought you and Hardin back, right?"

"Yes. And I want to say that this is the best thing ever happened to me."

"I'm happy for you, Tess. I think you and Hardin deserve to be happy."

"Thank you." I smile. "And I'm happy for you and David. You dream is real, now. You are having a baby with the man you love."

"We're both happy, right?"

"Yes. We are having our happy ending."

"Hardin, get up... We have to see our baby." I say and I start to kiss his face. Today we are going to my 18 weeks appointment and we're going to see baby Scott again and maybe we are lucky to know the gender.

"Yeah, I know." He groans.

"I made coffee."

"I don't want to drink coffee." He opens his eyes and he drags over him. "Good morning, Mrs. Scott."

"I'm not yours yet." I smile and I kiss him.

"But on Saturday, you will be mine."

"Yes, I will. Now get up."

We get up from bed and we go in the bathroom to have a shower. One hour later, we are waiting to get in Dr. Reynolds's office. After a few minutes, we enter, we talk a little about what happened since my last appointment, then it's time for the ultrasound. We look at the screen and we wait her to tell us.

Hardin: "I told you, it's a boy." He smiles at me. "Look right there!"

Dr. Reynolds: "I don't remember when you changed your fellowship." She laughs. "But you are right, it's a baby boy! Congrats!"

Tessa: "We're having a baby boy." I say with tears in my eyes while I look at Hardin."

Hardin: "The most beautiful gift you can give me." He kisses me. "I love you, Tess."

Tessa: "And I love you."

"Tess, are you ready?"

"I can't zip my dress! I need help. Can you come to help me?"

"Yes." He enters in our bedroom and his jaw drops on the floor.

"Close your mouth if you don't want to catch some bugs." I giggle.

"I had no idea that I have a beautiful fiancée." He zips up my dress and he let a kiss on my shoulder.

"Thank you."

"Are you ready?

"For marrying you? I think I always was ready for this." I smile and he kisses me.

"I can't wait to call you, my wife."

"I love you."

"And I love you." He kisses me.

Today I'm choosing you and I will always be choosing you. Today I love you more than yesterday, but less than tomorrow. You will always be mine and I will be yours. I will love you for the rest of my life."

"Now, I pronounce you husband and wife. You can kiss the bride!"

Hardin smiles at me, then he drags me to him, cupping my face. He whispers that he loves me and he kisses me. But this time, this kiss is different, it has more passion and it's our first kiss as husband and wife.

"Well, Mrs. Scott, you are stuck with me forever."

"I never wanted to be with someone else."
