* With the ceremony over, team BURN agreed that they would take this week before school officially started to get used to their new surroundings before they began training as a team. That meant that Nora spent almost all her time with Ren. Blake spent all her time reading the book next to the open windows, the smell of the beach reminding her of home, plus the sun hit the armchair just right, to make the cat side of Blake all tingling inside. Blake was also listening to soft music to accompany her reading. Currently, she was listening to "Don't Explain" by Chantal Chamberland*

* As she read a book about a shinobi child being adopted by a snake. Pyrrha spent this week just training and for the first time in a long time enjoying her training, since she didn't have god knows how many people inspecting every second of her training. Finally, Ruby Branwen was in the middle of both Blake and Pyrrha. She would start her day training and would continue to train throughout the day, but she would take hours-long breaks to read a book and relax. She was in one of those resting moments now.*

Ruby:......

Blake:......

* Both Blake and Ruby were in the living room reading and listening to Blake's music collection. Neither said a word to the other, nor even acknowledged the other. The only sound apart from the music that could be heard between them is the flipping of pages, a random cough, or the soft sip when they drink their tea. Mixed with the beach smell coming from the window, it was the perfect paradise for any introvert.*

Meanwhile, with the messy drama happening outside the doors of team BURN since that's what you are all here to read.

With Tai

*It took 3 connecting flights, 2 train rides, 5 different taxi rides, and a ferry wheel ride, but Tai finally made it to Beacon. Tai was running inside the entrance when he tripped. Tai looked at Qrow leaning against the wall, knowing full well that he was the one who used his bad luck semblance to make the running man trip. Qrow pushed himself off the wall and gave his old team rival a hand.*

Qrow: You ate dirt this time T.

Tai: Where is she?

*Tai said as he took Qrow's hand, and the black haired men helped him up. As soon as Tai was up, Tai started to walk at a fast pace to enter the school. There was absolutely nothing that would stop him from seeing Ruby today. Qrow, who was walking faster than him, got in front of him and placed his hand on the shoulder of the man who beat him in the romantic aspect.*

Qrow: straight to the point, huh? Come on. I'll take you to Summer.

Tai: I didn't come here to see my wife. I came to see my daughter.

* Tai said firmly, as he tried to move past Qrow so he could enter the gates of their old school. After 16 years, he was finally going to see his daughter and get the information on where Raven was hidden. Soon Tai will have his revenge, soon he'll end the miserable life of his ex-wife and make her regret ever meeting him. Qrow nodded to his friend as he decided to pull a small joke to release some of the tension surrounding the man.*

Qrow: yang it is then. I'm sure she'll be thrilled to see you

Tai: Qrow.

*Tai said with a cold tone that warned him not to get in his way. Qrow sighed before nodding and walking ahead of him at a normal pace. He waved his hand for Tai to follow him with a deep scowl on his face, not wanting to deal with either Branwen family member. Qrow took a deep breath as he took out his flask with a "non-alcoholic" vodka and took a big swig of it, letting the burning sensation go down his throat before responding.*
